ATV ride through the jungle, Mexico

The second part of our 4 combo Jungle tour in Cancun was the ATV ride though the jungle. It was an interesting experience of riding an ATV through the forest on a road full of mud, stones, climbs, descents and water. In general we had a lot of fun.

The ATV experience was a bit scary at some moments but awesome in general. If you decide to take this tour make sure that you wear comfortable clothes and comfortable closed shoes. Always use the sunblock and of course a helmet during the ride. I would advise you to bring your own towel and shampoo on this tour, since you need to wash up yourself from the dust later on. An extra clean t-shirt could be helpful as well.

The best tip I could ever give to you regarding this ride is to bring your own face mask and sun glasses, otherwise your nose, your mouth and your eyes will be full of dust and mud.

Staff members at the amusement park were amazingly friendly with a lot of sense of humor. The only thing I didn’t enjoyed very much regarding the ATV ride is that the path was too rocky with a lot of holes on it. It would have been more enjoyable for me personally if it was a bit smoother. But most of the visitors actually loved the fact that the path was kind of rough.

We were picked up from the marina after the speed boats ride and transported to the amusement park, just outside the city, with a comfortable and air conditioned mini bus. In general this all day 4 combo tour was very exciting, interesting and worth the money.

After the ATV ride we went for zip lining and Cenote jumping. At the end we had an amazing barbecue lunch that was actually prepared in front of us on wooden stoves. I will describe the rest of the 4 combo adventures in my next blog posts. So stay tuned. While in Mexico our base was in Cancun at amazing Royal Caribbean hotel. On the booking.com website the hotel name is listed as Emporio Cancun Hotel, but whatever name you put in the search engine you will end up at the very same hotel. You are welcome to check the links to see the photos, reviews, price and availability for your desired dates. I would appreciate very much if you book your accommodation through my affiliate link. It is not going to cost you anything but I will earn a small compensation for advertising the property.
